Career Portfolios are due on MONDAY, Nov. 2
Career Presentations are due on MONDAY, Nov. 2; you must be prepared to present your Career Presentation on Monday. Names will be drawn to decide who presents Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Career Presentation - Part of EXAM/Culminating Task - worth 15% of your mark.
Teacher will select the day that you present. Your presentation will include the following:

*5 duties/responsibilities
*5 tools/equipment
*5 skills needed for this job (remember! Skills Sorter/MI quiz)
*5 personal qualities (remember your Personal Profile)
*education: h.s. courses, Post-secondary courses, 3 post-sec. institutions, # of years
*career stepping stone: job titles/advancement in the career
*salary range/begin/mid/top-end
*3 places which employ (1 locally,1 nationally,1 internationally)
*Future job outlook for this job.
*At the end of the presentation, ask 3 questions re: the presentation.

There will be 4 days to Present your Powerpoint: You must be ready as of the first day. For all 4 days you will watch the Powerpoint presentations.
You are expected to be here ALL 4 days. You will be asked 3 questions for each presentation. Your answers will be marked.
CAREER PORTFOLIO- Part of EXAM/Culminating Task - worth 15% of mark.

1. Table of Contents which lists everything you have in your portfolio.
2. Statement of achievements to date: include school, extra-curricular - in and out of school, work/volunteer, travel, family activities, ? (approx. 100 words - sentences/point form)
3. Statement of future life goals: a) what I want to accomplish in 5 years.
b) How/where/who I see myself at age 35 c) what I want to do before I die.
Include schooling, job, living conditions (home, type and where), travel, family (married, children) (approx. 150 words - point form please)
4. Documentation must be organized into at least 3 sections. Eg. of sections - a) school, extra-curricular, work b) school, hobbies, family, work, sports. Use section titles that fit YOU. Include such things as:
